Kevin + Jenny - Bella Montagna

We had an intimate Chinese American tea ceremony to start off the day. Kevin’s first sight of Jenny in his Chinese dress, brought Jenny to tears. She was filled with emotions of seeing her husband for the first time and Kevin was just in amazement of how beautiful his wife to be looked. During the short tea ceremony, there were no dried eyes in the room. There is something that just triggers those tears when a mother cries.

Once tea ceremony came to an end, Jenny quickly (but elegantly) put on her white wedding dress with the help of her amazing team of bridesmaids. The chemistry between Jenny and her tribe was so genuine, Jenny even pretended to be a zombie when the veil accidentally fell over her face! LOL I will never forget that!!

Bella Montagna is a beautiful venue, with a variety of elements for us to use for photos. Ceremony site overlooked the San Jose Hills with vineyards all around us. Guests were treated to cocktail hour by the pool. Reception area was flipped from the ceremony site within 45 minutes and the details were simple but super cute! Each guests were given a cookie with the couple’s name on them.

Throughout the reception, it was a blend of Khmer and Chinese traditions. Bride and Groom dressed in Khmer clothes as they greeted each table. Each table had their unique way of greeting the couple, one table had the eat off of the same fork and another table forced the groom to lift the bride to grab their red envelope. So much fun!!

I’d hate to spoil everything so let’s have the photos do the rest of the show and tell.
