Greetings from New Orleans!!
We started the day out at a beautiful home, where a very small intimate tea ceremony took place with just their parents. We then migrated to a beautiful park in San Jose. The ceremony site is on a little hill with beautiful redwood trees that oversees the entire rose garden. The look on Mike's face when Esther walked down the aisle was beautiful. As much as he was attempting cover up the emotion, we saw it and as was touched by it.
The wedding reception was held in Cupertino's Dynasty Seafood Restaurant. The decorations were very detailed, red can be seen in every aspect of the reception. The color red symbolizes good luck in the Chinese culture. I especially love the decor where the Bride and Groom was seated.
During the introductions, as the Bride and Groom were announced, guests were treated to a surprise Lion Dance. Everyone's face lit up with cameras flashing in every corner of the room. There were two games played by the couple and it was definitely hilarious to watch. Mike knew his bride's hands and totally denied everyone else while he was blindfolded. Esther had to feel every participant's face but her hands went down to the tie area. She knew exactly what her groom wore, so clever Mike took off his bowtie before it was his turn. LOL
Mike and Esther are one of those couples that really are each other's best friends. They seek comfort in one another, genuinely enjoys each other's company, and have already established a bond strong enough to overcome any obstacles that may come their way. We are truly honor to have the opportunity to capture these two on their special day.
